Warren County Dog Park This site describes the off-leash dog park that is being developed in Warren County Virginia.  When it's done it will make many of our four-legged friends' tails wag with delight! Potter Cairn Rescue This is the site of a wonderful group of people who help find homes for these special little dogs that bring so much joy to the people they own!  This is the group that brought me my Rosie......Eleanor Roosevelt Walker; better known as Rosie Posie Puddin & Pie (pictured on the left). Warren County Virginia Humane Society This is our local shelter where I got the wonderful and beautiful Boo, a 12 year old White Shepherd that was perfect in every way for the two short years she had with us. And it also where a small group of dedicated people try to find homes for unwanted animals.  There are so many that need forever homes.  If you ever want a family pet....try to adopt one from a shelter or rescue group.  You'll be doing something great for the pet and for your family!  Second Chance of Raleigh NC This devoted group of animal lovers help to find forever homes for many dogs and cats that come to them in the Raleigh, NC area.  But they will allow their beloved rescues to go to good homes in other areas from time to time. That's where Truman, my basset hound, and I got his wonderful brother, Thomas Jefferson Walker....."Little Jeffie Man", a bassedor - Lab/Basset mix.  Visit their site and help them out if you can. Petfinder.com This is a great site to help you find the perfect "best friend" for you and your family.  Take a look at all the wonderful pets that need you! Dogster A fun site where your pet can have their own web page and show off their stuff!  It allows you to tell their story as well as post pictures of your sweet babies.
